What we will give you - for FREE?

1.a) If you are creating a website for your church.
Webspace: 100 mb
Bandwidth: 1 GB p/m.

1.b) If you are creating a website for your region (e.g. UAE, Mumbai, Germany, Trivandrum, etc.)
Webspace: 200 mb
Bandwidth: 2 GB p/m.

2) Your site will be hosted on our server on a sub-domain
e.g. mumbai.syromalankara.org

3) Access to FTP to your sub-domain - if you want to develop everything by yourself.
OR
We will install Wordpress for you! - Dont know what is"Wordpress"? Mr. Google should help you!

What we will not give you?

We will not make your website!

So how about support?

Well, you can access it in our forums!

What we request from you?

a. After you send in your application, we might take anything from 1 day to a fortnight to reply to your email. So, if you want a positive confirmation, please fill the application form in as much detail as possible.
b. Don't try hurrying things up by repeatedly applying, just because we have not replied to you. We are real world people with real world jobs or colleges, which has nothing to do with website development :)
c. If we find anything interesting on your site, and worthy of the entire world knowing it, we would like to place the story or content on our homepage.

What we will not allow?

a. Pretty much anything illegal! We hope this defines the scope.
b. Please do not use the web space to upload your personal files or link images to other forums or places like orkut. If our scanning bot scripts catch you, it would be a sad ending!
c. If any Church authority complains against you. Please be ready to explain. We might have to act according to what they say!

How to apply?

Simple. email us the following to [minisites (at) malankara (dot) org (dot) in]. please join all that together - we have to keep ourselves protected from spam bots!

0) Are you a Syro Malankara Catholic? Attending a Syro Malankara Catholic Church.
1) Your name.
2) Your church and/or region name.
3) Your contact details - email ID, Mobile number, Address.
4) Your priest-in-charge and his contact details - as above.
5) Have you sought the permission of your Priest-in-charge to edit your church's site? Or will you seek it from him? - if so, when? (Note: we will contact your Priest-in-Charge to verify your details!)
6) Why do YOU want to edit the site? :)
7) Do you know basic html / ftp usage? Or would you like to use Wordpress? You need not answer this, lookup online if you do not know, and go ahead and edit - Once you get the access details. All the best!
