St. Thomas Aquinas said that nothing on earth is more prized than true friendship. Jesus chose to be part of a web of friends while he walked the earth and shared our human existence. He continues to desire true friendship with each one of us. Our own friends are a reflection of that desire. We would like to invite you to the Second National Malankara Catholic Youth Movement (MCYM) Conference, to gather together in friendship and experience God’s friendship and love for us. The conference will be hosted by the Houston-Dallas MCYM at Houston Baptist University (Mar Ivanios Nagar) beginning July 19 and concluding on July 22.
We are looking forward in making this conference a spiritual journey for all participants. The conference consists of Speakers, Mass, Adoration, Cultural Programs as well as social activities. This conference will allow us to grow and know ourselves better in the light God pours into our lives. Loving the Lord makes it possible to love ourselves in ways that are constructive and healthy. We will come to see what it is that he loves in us and how pleasing we are to him.
